Hoosier Feeder, in collaboration with PMMI—The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies—partnered to support the New Castle Career Center’s Machine Trades program.
Through the PMMI U Skills Fund, Hoosier Feeder and the PMMI Foundation provided matching donations to help the program acquire a new lathe. This equipment will allow students to practice shaping metal using equipment they are likely to encounter in their future careers.
“We’re passionate about supporting initiatives that invest in students and the community,” says Stacy Johnson. “This program goes beyond teaching—it’s a launchpad for young professionals stepping into industries like ours. We’re grateful to PMMI for joining us in shaping the future workforce.”
