At Hoosier Feeder, we employ a talented team of engineers and designers with a great deal of experience creating new and innovative feed systems & components. After talking with numerous customers and strategizing with our internal team, we determined that there was an unmet need for a modular centrifugal feeder that would be more flexible, have the ability to work on different types of parts, and easy to changeover.
To better meet the needs of certain clients, we’ve engineered a new patent pending design for a precision modular centrifugal feeder base unit that is highly adaptable to handle current business as well as future products a customer may bring to market. This modular base unit allows one system to be converted to feed multiple parts from different part families with simple changeover and repeatable precision. Manufactured using water jet cutting, CNC machining, welding, and fabrication, this feeder can be adapted to 30", 40", 50", and 60" base units. There is nothing like this currently on the market. This system saves the retooling time and expenses required when a client needs to bring new products to market that are outside of the specific part family the system was designed to handle. It can be converted to feed an entirely different part family by switching out 4 segmented tooling sections.
Overall, the system reduces costs, brings new products to market faster, and change-over requires no factory skilled labor. There are many possible industry applications for this feeder, including packaging lines, inspection systems, contract manufacturers, plastic injection molding, and much more.
