Hoosier Feeder Company is happy to announce the addition of a new Sales Representative. Karl Fancher and his team with Youngblood Automation will now take on the services of representing Indiana.
At Hoosier Feeder Company we get excited about our employees’ efforts and adventures outside of work as much as their efforts inside of our facility. We are especially excited when those efforts put forth go to help others, much like our own Jon Cannaday’s journey to help injured and recovering veterans. Jon calls his mission Wagons for Warriors and its really is quite special.
For years, there has been a growing shortage of skilled labor in virtually every industry. Hoosier Feeder Company is taking proactive steps to educate youth in that regard. Mentorship, especially in the niche industry of parts feeding, is integral to the survival and imminent growth of the manufacturing industry and we full-heartedly believe in practicing just that.
This past year marked 10 incredible years at Hoosier Feeder Company. To celebrate we got to together on Lake Monroe in October and enjoyed food, drink, and good company.
One of the many efforts led by this organization is the Work Ethic Scholarship Program that, in 2017, hand selected 259 hard-working students in the entire United State to receive scholarships to help them learn more about the trades they are pursuing. We were proud to hear this foundation had selected our own Samuel Tollett.
Since moving into our new facility in late 2016, Hoosier Feeder Company has been growing to embrace the additional space and the capabilities it affords. An exciting project we are working towards is incorporating a Showroom and Training Center into our administrative building.
Additive manufacturing (3D printing) is quickly becoming a staple in all kinds of industries, and we found the parts feeding sector to be no different. What we do here at Hoosier Feeder Company revolves around an individual part, which by itself gives us information on how we need to design a feeding system, how we approach quoting a job, and whether a vibratory or centrifugal feeder is a feasible option.
Hoosier Feeder Company is excited to let you know we have recently purchased the assets of Industrial Feeding Systems (IFS) based in Beech Grove, Indiana. These assets include all job files, machine detail prints, and spare part information for every system manufactured by Industrial Feeding Systems.
High school students looking to get a head start on their career can now enroll in courses through the New Castle Career Center (NCCC) at New Castle High School. Seventeen programs are currently available to juniors and seniors interested in machine trades, including feeder systems. The program is an incredible opportunity for students who want to gain first-hand knowledge of the machine trades industry.
